BEST bus catches fire, none hurt

MUMBAI: A Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) air-conditioned (AC) bus reportedly caught fire in Kandivali

at around 6pm on Thursday. No passenger was hurt. The mishap happened when the bus reached Alika Nagar Junction.

“The bus driver noticed a spark in the driver’s cabin. He immediately evacuated the passengers,” said Manoj Varade, PRO BEST.
