‘Zero tolerance’: Panel’s call against safe havens

NEW DELHI: The UN CounterTerrorism Committee (CTC) on Saturday urged all UN member states to ensure “zero tolerance towards terrorism”, to deny terrorists access to safe havens and bring to justice supporting or planning terror attacks.

The recommendations, a key part of the Delhi Declaration adopted at the conclusion of the CTC meeting, emphasised that “terrorists’ opportunity to access safe havens continues to be a significant concern”.
