48 HRS CAMPAIGN BAN FOR BYPOLL

MUMBAI: A restriction will be imposed for 48 hours from November 1 starting 6pm on election campaigning ahead of the Andheri East bypoll, scheduled for November 3.

As per the model code of conduct, usage of bulk SMS and loudspeakers, use of religious places for campaigning, conducting any opinion polls or surveys etc. as well as buying, selling or exchange of liquor will be banned in the restriction period in Andheri East.
