IMRAN ACCUSES PAKISTAN PM IN ADDRESS AFTER ATTACK

LAHORE: Imran Khan on Friday accused Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and two others of involvement in a plot to kill him as he recovered in hospital from gunshot wounds following an assassination attempt a day earlier.

Khan told reporters that Sharif, who replaced him as premier following a vote of no confidence in April, interior minister Rana Sanaullah and a senior army commander “decided to kill” him, adding that two gunman were involved. The cricketer-turned-politician said he received information about this plot from “insiders”.
