SC TO HEAR PLEA ON CAPITAL’S AIR CRISIS ON NOV 10

NEW DELHI: The worsening air quality in Delhi-NCR requires immediate intervention, the Supreme Court observed on Friday, as it agreed to examine on November 10 a plea demanding fresh guidelines on stubbleburning and other steps to curb rising pollution. The petitioner stressed that the poor air quality was an infringement of right to life and breathe clean air.
