INFLUX OF ‘VERIFIED’ FAKE ACCOUNTS

Despite Musk’s claim that the new system would “defeat the bots,” within hours of the update rollout, Twitter was flooded with accounts that were fake, but carried the blue tick – much to the dismay of those the accounts were spoofing. Here are some of the many fake accounts that cropped up, and were later deleted:
