$2,000 special fee on H-1B visas set to return?

WASHINGTON: US lawmakers are campaigning to revive a $2,000 fee on H-1B and L-1 visas, which would make it costlier for Indian IT companies to hire workers from India in the US. Congressmen want to use the money raised to fund a 9/11 healthcare act. The visa fee had lapsed on October 1.
