Russian cruise missile goes astray, hits Russian village

MOSCOW: The Russian defence ministry said a cruise missile has gone astray after a test launch and has fallen near a village in northwestern Russia, hurting no one. The ministry said in a statement carried by Russian news agencies that the missile inflicted no damage when it fell on Tuesday near the town of Nyonoksa on the White Sea coast in the Arkhangelsk region.
