KOHLI WAX STATUE REPAIRED ON FIRST DAY ITSELF
NEW DELHI: A wax effigy of India captain Virat Kohli required repairs the same day it went on display at Madame Tussauds in Delhi after a rush of star-struck fans swamped the statue, the museum said on Friday. Part of the ear of the life-sized statue of Kohli was clipped off shortly after the waxwork was unveiled Wednesday. “As soon as our staff were alerted, the figure was removed, swiftly repaired and immediately displayed back into his cricket setting to be enjoyed by his adoring fans,” the museum said in a statement.

Rashid consolidates spot at top of T20 rankings
DUBAI : Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan consolidated his position at the top of the ICC T20 Player Rankings after returning with 12 wickets from the just-concluded T20 international series against Bangladesh at Dehradun. The 19-year-old wonder spinner has gained 54 points to finish with 813 points, 80 more than second-placed Shadab Khan of Pakistan. His compatriots, Mohammad Nabi and Mujeeb Ur Rahman have also made remarkable improvements in the Player Rankings.
