THE RULE IN CONTENTION

Based on the Bombay HC order from October 2017, minority institutes were asked to distribute seats in the following manner — of the total 100 seats, 15 will be set aside for management quota and of the 85 remaining seats, 42 (or 50%) will be for minority students, first for in-house candidates and then outsiders.

Earlier, the 50% minority seats was further divided and two separate merit lists were drawn — one for linguistic minority and another for reserved category applicants.
