FEBRUARY 2015: The BMC’S planning authority publishes draft DP and DCP

APRIL: The government directs re-publication of draft DP after corrections MAY 2016: Publication of revised draft DP and DCP by the BMC

AUGUST 2016: The state forms a three-member committee

MARCH 2017: The planning committee report submitted to the BMC (general body) JULY: The BMC general body sanctions draft DP and DCR AUGUST: The draft DP is submitted to the state government

APRIL 2018: The state gives final nod to DP

It has been opened for suggestions and objections DP sheets: These are ward-wise maps showing the provisions of the DP. While maps for the island city are ready, the ones for the western and eastern suburbs will be ready soon
