Vivek Toshniwal for the 8 am train to Andheri last Monday when we heard that all trains had been cancelled because of the Andheri bridge collapse.

There was huge crowd on the wet, slippery platform. Eventually I had to return home. I keep hearing about the scores of crores that the BMC and state receive from us in taxes and levies. Yet every monsoon, I fear I will be stranded again. How come there is no accountability —
