Sahil shines in Parel Sporting Club’s win

MUMBAI: Sahil Phedge came up with a dazzling performance on an overcast day as he picked up six wickets for a mere dozen runs. Phedge’s efforts were enough to power Parel Sporting Club to victory over Young Mohammedan on the basis of their first innings lead in the Dr HD Kanga League’s B Division match on Sunday.

Rains across the city saw play curtailed or being abandoned at most other matches in the second last round for A & B Division teams. Nikhil Patil 43; Naushad Khan 6/85) & 8/0 bt Young Mohammedan 125 (Nikhil Madas 44; Sahil Phedge 6/12) on first innings lead.

Bhatnagar S&CF 83/1D (Bhupen Lalwani 31, Rohit Rane 34) drew PDTSA 62/4.

Regal CC 66/3D (Hitesh Chauhan 34; Iqbal Abdullah 3/28) drew with Dr DY Patil SA.
