Where are the wild animals to go?

Avni was a treasure, a true wild animal, a perfect big cat and a beautiful mother who needed our protection. An innocent animal has fallen to corporate greed. Our governments must drop this industrial-growth-at-anycost thinking and look at the larger picture. What will we be without our biodiversity?

An animal will always look for prey. It is the forest officials’ responsibility to protect its habitat and the government’s duty to keep people out of buffer areas.

We need to step back and fix our laws, frame a uniform policy to safeguard people’s lives and protect endangered animals. We cannot have this happen again.
