10pm: Sanghvi’s wife ap­proaches NM Joshi Marg po­lice sta­tion and files a miss­ing per­son com­plaint af­ter she is un­able to reach him de­spite mak­ing sev­eral calls

Septem­ber 6, 5:30pm: The Navi Mumbai po­lice find an aban­doned car in Navi Mumbai with blood stains on the seat. They send wire­less mes­sages across po­lice sta­tions of Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai Sanghvi’s phone was switched off be­fore he left Ka­mala Mills premises Ac­cord­ing to the call data records, Sanghvi’s last lo­ca­tion was Ka­mala Mills On Septem­ber 6, the sus­pect switched on Sanghvi’s phone for a few min­utes, through which the po­lice found out he was in Navi Mumbai
