Next year, the Joint Entrance Examination-mains (Jee-mains) will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in two phases—january and April – over a period of 14 days in each phase
The decision to conduct exams in two phases was taken to reduce cheating and manipulation during exams While the difficulty level and the exam pattern will remain similar to the last few years, the exam will be conducted only in the online format Students will be allowed to appear for either or both of the exam cycles and can choose their best performance to be eligible for admissions. pen-and-paper format
1.65 lakh opted for the online format, while 9.56 lakh students opted for the pen-and-paper format for this year’s Jee-mains exam.
