March 23, 2018: He was convicted for kidnapping a minor girl with an intention to rape her on July 21, 2013. The girl, however, managed to escape and a case was registered against him later

August 14, 2018: A Protection of Children from Sexual Offences court convicted Ansari for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl in 2014 PUNISHMENT: Life until death
