MUMBAI : The second list of NCP’S poll candidates released on Friday named Parth Pawar, the grandnephe­w of party chief Sharad Pawar, who will contest from Maval. Parth’s entry marks the third generation of Pawars fighting polls. The party also named Marathi TV actor Amol Kolhe as its Shirur candidate, and former MP Sameer Bhujbal as the candidate from Nashik . ››P7

Lee Fixel, Flipkart backer, resigns from Tiger Global

BENGALURU: Venture capitalist Lee Fixel, a prolific investor in Indian startups, is leaving New York-based fund, Tiger Global. Fixel, through Tiger Global, was one of Flipkart’s early backers. Flipkart’s CEO Kalyan Krishnamur­thy assured employees in an email that Fixel will continue to be on the e-tailer’s board. ››P17
