RAJ THACKERAY IN ATTACK MODE

-

Taking potshots at PM Narendra Modi’s remark that he approved cross-border air strike mission despite bad weather because the clouds would hide Indian planes from Pakistan’s radars, MNS chief Raj Thackeray said, “The United Nations (UN) recently passed a resolution regarding when to fight a war. It was unanimously agreed that war should be fought when the skies are cloudy and there are chances of rain. This will ensure no country comes to know who threw the bomb and where. This technology was invented by our PM Narendra Modi recently.” Thackeray blamed the ruling party members for the water scarcity in rural areas. “Many of the ruling party members have connections with the tanker lobby. If you get water easily, how will their business thrive?” asked Thackerayd

He demanded that the state tell citizens what it did to ease the drought situation in Maharashtra. Thackeray said, “If they claim to have worked in drought-affected villages, why was there a need to announce a drought. The state claims to have dug up 1.20 lakh wells in Maharashtra. It is important to find where these wells are,” he said Thackeray also came down heavily on foreign tours conducted by politicos and IAS officials calling them a waste of public money. “You should ideally catch politicians who go on foreign tours and ask them what they have achieved. These are just fun tours. What is the need to go when everything is available online?” he asked.
