Classical singer Dr Vaishampayan dies at 66

KOLHAPUR:NOTED classical singer and ex-chief of music department of Shivaji University, Dr Bharati Vaishampayan died at 66 on Sunday. As a veteran classical singer, she graced various music platforms in India and abroad. She spread the name of Shivaji University across the country by organising ‘Gharana Sammelan’ and ‘Rajarshi Shahu Sangeet Rajani’.
