UMA BHARTI ATTENDS RAM TEMPLE RITUAL

AYODHYA: Former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Uma Bharti attended the bhoomi pujan ceremony for the Ram temple in Ayodhya after initial reluctance. In a tweet, Bharti said (in Hindi) she was bound by her faith in Lord Ram and since she was invited by the top officials of the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, she would oblige. Uma Bharti had said on August 3 that she will skip the ceremony in the wake of Covid-19 outbreak.
