MUMBAI: Even as campuses endeavour to create safe spaces for sexual and gender minorities, past trauma, invisibility and discrimination is rife.

In celebrations to mark the Pride month — which recognises the LGBTQ + community’s impact on history locally, nationally, and internationally — HT interviewed scientists about their experiences in STEM. A nagging sense of invisibility lingered among all the scientists interviewed.
