Third wave of Covid-19 under way in UK: Expert

The UK is seeing a third wave of infections as a result of the Delta variant, a top expert who advises the government on its vaccination programme has said. Adam Finn, who advises on the joint committee on vaccination and immunisation, told the BBC, “It’s going up, perhaps we can be a little bit optimistic it’s not going up any faster, but nevertheless, it’s going up. So this third wave is definitely under way.”
