Tanish wins it for Goregaon Centre
MUMBAI: All-rounder Tanish Shetty hogged the limelight with his fine all-round show, taking five wickets for 72 runs and later smashing 106 runs, to help Goregaon Centre emerge champions by getting the better of Vasai Centre on the basis of the first innings lead on the second day of their two-day final of the 25th Ajit Naik Memorial Under-14 selection trials cricket tournament 2022, organised by Worli Sports Club. Tanish was declared the Player of the Match.

U-14 selection trial tourney from May 19
The 27th edition of the ‘Dream11 cup’ organised by Dilip Vengsarkar Foundation for the under-14 age group, a selection trial tournament of Mumbai Cricket Association, will be starting on May 19 at the Dilip Vengsarkar Cricket Academy ground , Sachivalay Gymkhana and Karnataka SA ground. The matches will be of two-day duration. Four teams, namely Vengsarkar XI, Tendulkar XI, Shastri XI and Gavaskar XI, selected by MCA’S selection committee will be in fray.
