‘DIDN’T GO HOME FOR FIVE MONTHS’

Dr Vikas Dogra, head of school of pulmonology, Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital: Dr Dogra, 39, recalled how from four-five patients initially, they had to turn the hospital into a dedicated Covid facility. He said he did not visit his home for five months. “I have a one-and-a-half-year-old daughter. I would go and see my family at the gate of our housing society each fortnight. I, in fact, stood on the gate and watched my daughter from there only.”
