Need participation from pvt sector for IFFI: Javadekar
PANAJI: Union minister for information and broadcasting Prakash Javadekar on Saturday pitched for greater participation from the private sector for the next edition of the International Film Festival (IFFI) later this year.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the 51st edition, Javadekar said that presently the festival is largely steered by the government of Goa and the Centre.
“I want to announce that for the next edition later this year, we are looking for a greater participation from the private sector,” the minister said.
