Over 300k vaccinated across states
A total of 381,305 health care workers have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in the country, the government said on Monday, days after the country started its immunization drive against the viral disease. According to the health ministry, on Monday alone, 148,266 beneficiaries were vaccinated across 25 states and Union territories. The vaccines against Covid-19 are first being offered to an estimated 30 million health care and frontline workers in the first phase, followed by people above 50 years and those below 50 with comorbidities.
