MAN HIDES IN U.S. AIRPORT FOR THREE MONTHS
An Indian-origin man from California was found secretly living in the Chicago airport for nearly three months as he was scared to go home due to Covid-19, multiple media reports said in a story reminiscent of the 2004 Tom Hanks film The Terminal.
According to NBC Chicago, Aditya Singh, 36, arrived at O’hare International Airport on a flight from Los Angeles on October 19 and has been living in its security zone undetected until Saturday, wearing an airport manager’s badge. His hiding was revealed by two United Airlines employees who questioned him for identification.
Singh was arrested on Saturday in Terminal 2 near Gate F12. He has been charged with criminal trespass and theft.
