Have full faith in alliance with DMK, says Rahul in TN
CHENNAI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday ruled out any differences with the MK Stalin-led DMK in Tamil Nadu, saying that his party has full faith in the alliance. “We are having a very good relationship with the DMK,” Gandhi told reporters in Karur district after wrapping his three-day campaign in the western region of the state where elections are due this year. “We have the full respect of Mr Karunanidhi, Stalin-ji and we have full faith in the alliance. The aim of this alliance is to stop the RSS ideology from coming into Tamil Nadu,” he said. The former Congress president’s assertion comes amid strains in the parties’ alliance in neighbouring Union territory of Puducherry.
