45-YEAR-OLD WOMAN FOUND MURDERED

A middle-aged woman was stabbed to death in Kalanjari village of Jani police station on Wednesday.

The police are suspecting a beggar, who entered the house when the woman, Kumud Sharma,45, was alone at her home. According to the police, she was stabbed multiple times before her throat was slit.

SP ( rural) Keshav Kumar Mishra said that the body had been sent for post-mortem examination and the investigation is underway to arrest the perpetrator of crime.

Kumud was staying in the village with her two children. Her husband Raju works in Rajasthan. Her two children left for their school on Wednesday morning.

Kumud’s husband’s younger brother returned home at around 11 am and found the body of Kumud. He informed the villagers and the matter was reported to Jani police, who collected evidence and started investigation.
