Indo-tibetan Border Police receives 17 medals on Republic Day

On the occasion of 72nd Republic Day, Government conferred 17 medals to ITBP officers. Anurag Kumar Singh, Asstt Comdt (GD) received Police Medal for Gallantry for displaying esprit de corps while leading an operation in village Tahab, District Pulwama in 2017 with the troops of 55 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and eliminated two hard core Hizbul Mujahidin militants.
