VEHICLE SCRAPPAGE POLICY ANNOUNCED CAPEX INCREASED TO ₹5.54 LAKH

The Centre has announced a voluntary vehicle scrapping policy aimed at taking polluting vehicles off the roads to reduce pollution and congestion.

To spur growth via infra creation, the government in its Union Budget hiked capital expenditure for fiscal year 2021-22 by 34.5% to ₹5.54 lakh crore.
