NOIDA LAUNCHES INDUSTRIAL PLOT SCHEME FOR MEGA PROJECTS

The Noida authority Monday launched an industrial plot scheme in the city.

Plots in this scheme will be more than 4,000 square meters, said officials. “This is an openended scheme and will continue until all the plots in this scheme are allotted,” said Avinash Tripathi, officer on special duty of the Noida authority.

Those interested can apply for plots by February 21, 2021.

Applicants will have to submit details of their businesses, net worth, turn over and other details pertaining to their company, after which the authority’s industrial department will assess the applicant to see whether the businesspe­rson is eligible for an interview, said officials. The interviews will be conducted by a committee of officials headed by the Noida authority’s chief executive officer CEO.

“We will figure out if the firm will be able to set up business, have capacity to invest and create jobs in the city,” said an official, not authorised to speak to the media.the authority has at least 36 plots of more than 4,000 square meters to be allotted under the scheme. The authority considers a project as mega or super mega if the firm is likely to make an investment of over ₹100 crore in an industrial project.
