MHA tables J&K Reorganisation Bill in Rajya Sabha

NEW DELHI: Union minister of state (home affairs) G Kishan Reddy on Thursday introduced in the Rajya Sabha the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Amendment) Bill 2021, which seeks to replace an ordinance to merge the J&K cadre of All India Services officers with the Union Territory cadre, also known as Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram and Union Territories Cadre (AGMUT).
