STF jawan killed in IED blast in Chhattisgarh

RAIPUR: A jawan belonging to the Special Task Force was killed on Sunday after an improvised explosive device (IED), allegedly planted by Maoists, went off in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district, police said. “Constable Mohan Nag inadvertently stepped on the IED connection near Peddagellur,” Inspector General of Police (Bastar range) Sundarraj P told PTI.
