Cash-for-medical seat racket uncovered in Karnataka: I-T dept

BENGALURU: The Income Tax department on Thursday said that search and seizure operations conducted on nine major trusts in Karnataka that run medical colleges revealed that they were admitting students in exchange for cash. The operations were conducted on trusts registered in Bengaluru and Mangalururunning educational institutions, including medical colleges.
