PM Modi launches connectivity projects for poll-bound Assam

GUWAHATI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched connectivity projects worth ₹9,500 crore in Assam on Thursday as the BJP seeks to retain power in the state ahead of upcoming state polls. “In past , the amount of work that should have been done to improve connectivity on the Brahmaputra was not undertaken,” he said, attacking the previous governments.
