NZ to give free sanitary products for girls in schools

WELLINGTON: New Zealand will distribute free sanitary products in schools to combat “period poverty” among disadvantaged girls, PM Jacinda Ardern said on Thursday. She said the programme begins in June and will cost Nz$25mn (Us$18mn) over three years.
