National Internet Exchange of India announces Republic Day Scheme

NIXI announced Republic Day Scheme on the 72nd Republic Day. The scheme offers a free IDN (Internationalised Domain Name) in any of the 22 official Indian language along with every .IN domain booked by the registrant. Applicants will also get a free email in a local language. The offer will help stimulate and proliferate the use of local language content. One free IDN domain name with registration period of 1 year only will be applicable to new creates of both second level and third level .IN registrations for all tenures.
