Home Minister Amit Shah releases book on CRPF History in New Delhi

Union Home Minister Amit Shah released ‘Rashtra Pratham-82 Warshon kii swarnim gatha’ in an eventful function held at CRPF’S Shaurya Officers Institute in New Delhi.

The book chronicles the illustrious history of the force from the impartial perspective of a historian, scrupulously mapping changes over a period of time and locating developments in the context of wider shifts in society and politics.

The book has traced the history of CRPF from its raising in 1939 to the present day with intricate details of events that unfolded in the backdrop of prevalent circumstances. The release of the book is also a symbolic tribute to the veterans.
