CAPITAL ADDS 197 MORE COVID-19 CASES, POSITIVITY RATE AT 0.34%

NEW DELHI: The Capital recorded 197 new cases of Covid-19 on Sunday, while one more fatality pushed the death toll to 10,910, according to data shared by the city health department.

Before Sunday, the city added over 200 new cases of the infection each day for four days in a row. The city added 243 cases of the disease on Saturday. On Friday, 256 new cases of Covid-19 were registered in the city, the highest single-day infection spike in February, while on Thursday and Wednesday the count stood at 220 and 200, respectively.

Delhi on Sunday recorded a positivity rate of 0.34% per cent, marginally lower than 0.36% the previous day.
