Manav Rachna’s Faculty of Media Studies & Humanities (FMEH) grooms students to face challenges of the fast growing communication technology and media world. The Faculty of Media Studies & Humanities at Manav Rachna houses Radio Manav Rachna (a 24X7 community radio station) giving students an edge across all formats of media communication. The syllabus is multidisciplinary and encompasses all aspects of media and communication. The Department has state-of-the-art equipment (Studio, Production Control Room, Edit bay, Camera, Teleprompter, etc.), a wellequipped broadcast studio and Computer Lab with all the required software for print production.
The department imparts intensive hands-on training in video production, including direction, research, scripting, editing, camera and sound. It also has a strong research focus
that enables students to produce documentaries and short films.
The programme culminates in the production of a documentary and a dissertation.
Alumni from the institute are placed across leadership roles in organizations like NDTV, Dainik Bhaskar, Dainik Jagran, Hindustan Times, Statesman, The Pioneer, Indian Express, Sahara News, ABP News, Zee News, and more. Manav Rachna offers a unique combination of courses in Media Studies &

B.A. - Journalism and Mass Communication (International) in association with Western Sydney University, Australia
Giving an international dimension to honing the media skills of students, this course allows Manav Rachna students to proceed to Western Sydney University (WSU), Australia in the 2nd year directly with transfer of credits. WSU, Australia faculty members provide academic delivery support during the first year of this program at Manav Rachna.
B.A./M.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication:
The Faculty has made consistent efforts to introduce research at undergraduate level.
Live Case Studies are conducted with the help of students on topical issues in the first year itself. Surveys of various kinds (Media Habits, Time Spend, Perception, Voting Campaign Impact, etc.) are used to familiarize the students with basic research tools.
B.A. (Hons.)/m.a. (Hons.) in English:

Language Lab with the prime objective of facilitating efficient teacher-student interaction, correct phonetic accent, and improving language proficiency and to develop their effective communication skills in the present world.
