GST COUNCIL MEET VENUE MOVED FROM SRINAGAR TO CHANDIGARH

NEW DELHI: The Goods and Services Tax Council will meet for two days from June 28 in Chandigarh, the indirect tax body announced on Saturday. The meeting was earlier scheduled to be held in Srinagar. “The 47th meeting of the GST Council will be held on 28-29 June, 2022 (Tuesday and Wednesday) at Chandigarh instead of Srinagar,” the GST Council announced on Twitter. It did not give any reason for the change in venue.
