Winter session to begin from Dec 7

The winter session of Parliament will begin from December 7 and will end on December 29, Union parliamentary affairs minister Pralhad Joshi said on Friday. In a tweet, Joshi said: “Winter Session 2022 of Parliament will commence from 7 December & continue till 29th December having 17 sittings... Amid Amrit Kaal looking forward to discussions on Legislative Business & other items during the session. Looking forward for constructive debate.” This will be the first session during which Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will officiate proceedings in the Upper House. The session is expected to see the government bringing a new bill to replace the current legislation on personal data security.
