Afghanistan beat SL in first ODI

NEW DELHI: Ibrahim Zadran’s second ton in only his sixth ODI led Afghanistan to a 60-run win over Sri Lanka in Pallekele, on Friday. Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Rahmat Shah also hit half-centuries as Afghanistan posted 294/8 in their 50 overs. In reply, despite Pathum Nissanka’s 85 and Wanindu Hasaranga’s 66, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 234 in 38 overs.
