UPSC TO HOLD SEPARATE EXAMS FOR IRMS CADRE

NEW DELHI: The ministry of railways on Friday announced that the recruitment for Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) will be done through a specially designed examination from next year.

It will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

“The IRMSE will be a twotier examination,” an official said.

“The common candidates of Civil Services (Main) examination and IRMS (Main) may opt for any of the optional subjects for both these examinations or choose separate optional subjects for these exams ,” according to a statement issued by the railways.
