Creating Employment Avenues Through Self-sufficiency
Chhattisgarh has become the lowest unemployment state in the country with a rate of 0.4%, thus ensuring ‘Financial Liberty’ for all. Now, the State Govt is aiming to create 15 lakh new employment opportunities
According to the monthly data of the Center for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), Chhattisgarh topped the list of employment among the states of the country in the month of october. Here the unemployment rate was the lowest at 0.1%.
The State Government is giving employment to the youth and women in every field. With recruitment in government jobs, the government has taken an unprecedented step towards self-reliance and self-reliance.
Due to the robust policy framework, people from every section of society is getting employment today. The villagers of Chhattisgarh are continuously moving towards economic strength by creating employment through various mediums.
Employment mission is being conducted in Chhattisgarh to create 12 to 15 lakh new employment opportunities in the coming 5 years.
Several steps have been taken in the state to strengthen the agrarian economy. Many initiatives have been taken in view of the huge production of paddy and forest produce as well as the possibilities of tourism.
The state government is working on several schemes for large-scale employment generation in future. Chhattisgarh had created a record by providing employment to more than 26 lakh families under MNREGA. Free skill training has given youth their own business while e-category registration provided employment to young engineers.
Now getting government jobs becomes easier
Along with creating employment in different sectors, the government also started the process of recruitment on vacant posts in different departments, due to which a large number of youth have got job opportunities.
By forming the Bastar Battalion, job opportunities were made available to the local youth there. The process of recruitment on various posts is going on in the police department itself.
Apart from this, a decision has been taken to recruit more than 12,000 teachers. Recruitment will be done for 12,489 teachers posts for Bastar and Surguja division, out of which 6,285 are assistant teachers, 5,772 are teachers and 432 are lecturers. ‘Godhan Nyaya Yojana’: Providing livelihood to villagers
‘Godhan Nyay Yojana’ has become the easiest means of livelihood for the villagers. Due to this scheme, people are getting vocational opportunities in every village.
Villagers have become financially empowered and they are able to buy livestock and generate income from cattle rearing. They are able to sell cow dung every day at Gauthan and he receives money after every 15 days.
Today, youth, women, farmers and tribal community people are earning a substantial income by taking advantage of the schemes. With the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana’, farming has now become a lucrative profession.
Government efforts have motivated farmers to resume farming as a source of income, bringing prosperity and happiness back into their lives. The government has also paved the way for economic independence for rural cattle rearers by implementing schemes such as ‘Godhan Nyaya Yojana’. Additionally, under the loan waiver scheme of the government, around 53,000 people have benefited.
