Mukhya Mantri Haat Bazar Clinic Yojana

-

In terms of Garhbo Nava Chhattisgarh, the Health and Family Welfare Department is committed to provide quality healthcare facilities to every individual in rural and remote forest areas of the state. Therefore, the Chhattisgarh Government launched ‘Mukhya Mantri Haat Bazar Clinic Yojana’ through which patients will be able to get basic health services quickly.

Due to a dearth of doctors in rural hospitals, many times even basic health services were not accessible to people due to which detection of illness was delayed and patients were referred to hospitals on time. Patients will, however, now receive medical assessment and treatment in a prompt manner.

In the absence of pathology laboratories in rural and urban slum areas, earlier, patients had to travel long distance to reach urban areas to get a simple blood test done. At Haat Bazar clinics, blood tests are conducted free of cost to identify high blood pressure, diabetes, sickle cell disease, anaemia, haemoglobin, malaria, and typhoid. As a result, people are receiving prompt treatment in the event of illness. More than 48 lakh people have availed health services in Haat Bazar clinics since the year 2019.

The Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic scheme run by the World Health Organization (WHO), South East Asia, India in the state has been appreciated globally.
