Mukhyamantri Dai-didi Clinic scheme: A Gift for Women

-

CM Bhupesh

Baghel launched ‘Dai

Didi Clinic’ for women on November

19, 2020 to mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister

Indira Gandhi. This scheme was started as a pilot project with three special mobile

‘Dai Didi clinics’ in

Raipur, Durg-bhilai and Bilaspur

Municipal Corporation.

The uniqueness of these clinics is that all the medical staff including doctors (M.M.U) at Dai-didi Special Clinics are women and only women and girls are being treated free of cost.

The 'Dai Didi Clinic' initiative was launched because many women were unable to share their health concerns with doctors, resulting in improper medical care. Through this initiative the Chhattisgarh Government is providing a conducive environment to women— having female doctors and nursing staff, so that patients can speak out about their health concerns and receive proper treatment without hesitation.

Women can receive first aid, breast cancer screenings, and specific checks for pregnant women at these clinics.
