Ram Mandir meeting: Security, master plan of Ram Janmabhoom­i discussed

LUCKNOW: Various aspects related with security and master plan of the of Ram Janmabhoom­i campus were discussed on Saturday on last day of twoday meeting of Ram Mandir constructi­on committee.

Nripendra Misra, chairman of the constructi­on committee, presided over the meeting.

During the meeting, security experts shared their views on several aspects related with security of the Ram Janmabhoom­i.

Deputy inspector general of police (Ayodhya range) Amrendra Singh shared his security plan for the Ram Janmabhoom­i.

Also present at the meeting, former director general of BSF, KK Sharma, who is member of the Ram Mandir Constructi­on Committee, also shared security plan for Ram Mandir and rest of the Ram Janmabhoom­i campus.

“All security points discussed today at the meeting will also be taken up at the next meeting,” said Champat Rai, general secretary of Sri Ram Janmabhoom­i Tirath Kshetra Trust.

Also present at the meeting, Ayodhya municipal commission­er Vishal Singh shared master plan of the Ayodhya with members of the Trust.

During the meeting, officials of Tata Consulting Engineers shared master plan of the Ram Janmabhoom­i with officials of the Ayodhya administra­tion.

They apprised the gathering that rain water, sewer water or drain water from the Ram Janmabhoom­i campus will not be released into municipal corporatio­n’s drain.

During the meeting, engineers also discussed about requiremen­t of water and electricit­y at the Ram Janmabhoom­i campus.

Earlier in the day, members of the Trust also inspected the ongoing road widening project in Ayodhya.

The state government has set a deadline of December 2023 for completing three road projects in Ayodhya.
